Jean Auel, bestselling author of The Clan of the Cave Bear and the remarkably successful Earth's Children series, will discuss her new book, The Land of Painted Caves, and how science informs her work at the Tempe Center for the Arts, April 10, 2011, at 1pm. Tickets are free at the door.
Professor of Journalism Ed Sylvester will host Ms. Auel on stage. Sylvester, an accomplished science writer, has authored a number of books that explore the impact science and scientific discovery have on our lives.
